Summary
Set halfway through season three, Jim Matthews makes the acquaintance of Genny Carter, the towns's "hermit" and purveyor of homemade soaps and shampoos. She's been stuck since before Boyd's family arrived and remembers how horrible it used to be; now finding safety and comfort in rarely leaving her home, unless absolutely necessary. With his marriage on its last legs, Jim comes to find comfort of his own in his new friendship—and perhaps something more—with Genny. He's determined to find a way out, she's resigned herself to believing they can never leave. Whether or not any of them get out of any of this alive, remains to be seen...but, for the meantime, they're in this together.

Alors plus rien ne la surprenait. Même lorsque de nouveaux arrivants ont débarqués, deux voitures différentes, Evie se disait que ça ne changerait rien. Plus rien ne changerait plus jamais.
Mais elle avait tord. Tout allait être altéré : sa vie, celle des autres, même la ville et les créatures qui rodaient dehors. Son monde tout entier allait être chamboulé, sans qu'elle ne puisse rien y faire.
Mais c'était ça, non, la sérendipité ? Le fait de faire, par hasard, une découverte, ou une rencontre, qui peut tout changer.

So, I made the mistake of watching the tv series From, for the first time and got absolutely hooked. Told myself I would only watch the first season but then ended up binge watching the entire thing. Anyway, got some inspiration from season 1( the best one in my humble opinion), and a little bit of season 2 and thought I'd make a one shot out of it.
What originally was a Kevin/Jasmine pairing, turned swiftly into a Randall/Jasmine story instead. Since Kevin was just such a wimp and Randall is so much better.
And finally, My favorite character will still be alive!
