Summary
Shadow was finally best friends with Sonic, he could entrust his life with the other and he knew Sonic would do the same.
But now? Shadow questions if he was even worthy to be called such a thing in the first place, reason being? He betrayed the one person who understood him more than anyone, even Rouge. He left him for dead in the hands of ruthless scientists that could dissect him until there was nothing left of him.
Shadow knows that if Sonic was in his place, he would not care about the public and do his best to protect and help Shadow, he would not let Shadow be chained, he would not let Shadow be muzzled, he would not let Shadow be forcefully shoved into an E.P.F van as all his green emerald eyes held was fear and terror as he drastically looked around wordlessly begging for help as he stared Shadow dead in the eyes when all he did was nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing nothing NOTHING NOTHING-
Shadow should have done something. Then maybe, just maybe, he wouldn’t be so disappointed in himself for betraying a person he cares about for the second time.

This whole funky little universe is inspired by a random text my roommate sent me that said "Sonic Boom Sonic is def Sonic Underground Sonic and the bandana is to cover his necklace" so that's what we're working with.

It's been a long time since I've posted or worked on fanfic- for those who remember from my old story, Sonic SXU- in the last chapter I mentioned I was rewriting, well here it is! I was to apologize for the wait but I am still working on this with new drawings and ideas that was inspired by the Sonic Movie Universe. This story takes place in the movie universe- basically an answer to: "What would happen if we start introducing old Sonic characters into the films?" OR "What would happen if we combined all of Sonic media into one?"
Hope you all like this! This fan will introduce Archie characters, IDW characters, Sonic Underground, Sonic SatAM, Sonic video games, and small related Sonic easter eggs for the fans who love Sonic the Hedgehog as much as I do! Basically you can say this is more of an idea of a reboot or a rewrite.
