Summary
A dangerous new cult rises from the shadows, and it’s up to Aurors Florence Evans and Ominis Gaunt to discover it and bring them to justice. Sworn under oath to keep the assassin’s guild hidden, he needs to figure out what he can about the cult, without getting caught by Florence and Ominis tailing his every move, not knowing who they are following. His growing obsession for Florence doesn’t make the task any easier. They are all racing against time, trying to uncover the cult’s motives and elusive leader before it’s too late, and he takes over both the Wizarding and Muggle Worlds.
Ominis, Florence, and Sebastian are all at least 20 years old in this story, having graduated from Hogwarts and finished Auror training. I am leaving the ages unknown so readers can imagine an age that feels most comfortable for them, given the mature aspects of the story. The romance is slowburn, and starts out seeming more like fluff, but a few chapters in, things will get darker and smuttier later on.

The world tries to spin away from him when he opens his eyes but he forces his pounding head to tilt so he can orient himself. Yellow cabinet, ratty taupe bathmat, tiles, blood. He’s in the bathroom. Footsteps. Logan turns his face into the cold tile as the door creaks open.
There’s a pause.
“Hey, bud, had a little accident?” the words are far away, “really bob-rossed my bathroom. Thanks.”
Logan tenses even though he knows he isn’t dreaming anymore. He swallows around a dry throat and says nothing.
