This hedgehog's mind is overloading. It's as if he can hear the memories of ancient lives in his ears playing on repeat. He's plugged his ears earlier—it has no effect in the slightest. They play indiscriminately, starting randomly and playing until the end. It was an irritating accompaniment to the force-feeding of information his mind was bouncing around. The ancient's values, their memories of this land, their memories of one another, and their emotions. He feels them as if they're his own.
It's started to replace his own memories.
