Summary
Drabble based on a true incident, in which a student pilot, Annette Gipson, decided to try to swoop down and nab a free-floating Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon - almost costing her and her instructor their lives. In my version, there is a TARDIS intervention. Any Doctor will do; I always imagine Fivey.

Summary
Drabble in which the Fifth Doctor helps Jean II of Nesle, AKA the Blondel (a common nickname for any blond man), create the legend wherein Richard Lionheart is rescued from Dürnstein Castle not because his mother, Eleanor, simply paid the outrageous ransom, but through some romantic responsive singing by the King and his troubadour... or was that really his troubadour?

Drabble, sort of standalone but works better after "That's When I Cried" and 'Aftermath" in that order. The Fifth Doctor explains to Tegan the significance of the handkerchief he lost and recovered.

Summary
In this novella, the Master, inspired by 1914 serial "The Perils of Pauline," vows to subject the Doctor to similar perils and tricks the Doctor into answering a fake distress call that brings him to, of all places, 1914 Hoboken (the one on Earth). The Doctor escapes each peril, meeting new friends and enemies on a wild road trip. Can the Doctor find his abandoned TARDIS and rejoin his stranded friends (he left Nyssa and Tegan on another planet!) or must he succumb to the deadliest peril the Master has in store for him? Standalone prequel to Candy. There is violence -- I mean it's the Master, right? -- but nothing approaching what I think "graphic" means. However, the Doctor is rightly tired of rope.

Summary
The Fifth Doctor learns how inconvenient it can be to get on Richard Wagner's bad side... and that being in Wagner's good graces can be almost as inconvenient. When the Doctor inadvertently steals the 51-year-old composer's thunder at a party, Wagner becomes slightly obsessed with the Time Lord and wavers between wanting his advice regarding his relationship with 18-year-old King Ludwig and... well, you may well wonder what else is on his mind.

Summary
On February 2, 1959, the Fifth Doctor returns to the TARDIS from... where? Someone's slipped him LSD. Nyssa and Tegan must see him safely through an intense unplanned trip, funny and frightening, through the TARDIS and through the Doctor's own psyche (and some intense memories). Will he discover who's drugged him, how and why -- and avoid being disposed of? Bye bye Miss American Pie.
