This is my first original work I am posting, it's about an alien who comes to Earth because their planets sun is ending its life cycle. Their sun has begun to glow brighter and hotter, coming to its end and the end of their planet; which is why Xenon must travel to Earth to begin a new life there without his parents. He meets a boy who's rather odd but inviting, despite the broken English and confusion they'll grow to be great friends... and maybe more?

Highschool AU where Stanley and Xeno hear about a freaky new student that's kinda just as weird as the rumors... Stanley helps the reader with their fucked-up plans while Xeno is none the wiser to all the insane shit his friends do behind his back. Reader is obviously mental and does insane shit for even more insane reasons that only make sense to them.
Stanley gets grey hairs from all the shit Xeno and (mostly)Reader put him through but eventually gets used to it once he realizes he's the only sane member of the group despite how normal Xeno seems and how NOT NORMAL he feels after doing all he does to put up with Reader
The overlying theme of this fic is "Change" and whether it be inward change, refusal to change, eventual change for the worse, eventual change for the better, or changing what you thought you knew before. Change will be ever-present even if you can't see it.

He stepped out for a smoke, the gray sky above contributing to the overall mood and color tone of Hawkins. Eddie took a puff as he watched the cars go by. The snow plows had cleared the streets earlier that day, leaving a lovely pileup of dirty slush over the sidewalks, not helping the already darkened and dull mood Eddie constantly found himself in. Maybe he blended in like a shadow with the dark clothes he was wearing today.
Another puff and he watched a pop of color appear from across the street. An unmistakable beautiful head of hair tucked under a red ski cap with a matching scarf as Steve Harrington turned the corner and walked down the opposite side of the street. Eddie watched with interest at the handsome king of their high school seemed deep in thought and definitely not looking where he was going. Another car sped by and splattered more of the slush onto Steve's side of the street. Eddie stifled a laugh as Steve slipped and fell in the dirty snow. He watched with amusement of the supposedly most popular guy in their school make an ass of himself, but after a few beats he realized Steve hadn't gotten up.
