He hated it. Every second of it only made it harder and harder for Ainosuke to stomach it and when he finally did snap, all it did was leave him hollow inside. No closer to having his Eve hold him or understanding why someone like Eve would even waste his time on some second rate skater. All Ainosuke could do was stare bitterly at his memories as they drove off, trying desperately to understand the one question about Reki Kyan that seemed to plague him around every corner these last 2 years…

Silver, Tangle, and Whisper all wind up on an accidental adventure together involving an unusual time-traveling device using a chaos emerald identical to Silver's. Starline has apparently not only mysteriously survived the cave-in after being left for dead by Eggman in issue 50, but is quite alive and well. Maybe not sane, though. He's out to change the history of the Eggman War. When Silver and Tangle lose sight of Whisper everything falls apart even more with Starline attempting to meet Eggman in time to help him win everything over his enemies.
(Takes place some time after "Battle for the Empire" and takes a new route after this arc. It also assumes a slightly different account of the events of "Sonic Forces" especially in how Zero becomes Infinite.)

A series of connected vignettes about addiction, shame, parenthood, and the difference between what Shane believes about himself and what the people who love him see.
Post-TLG and canon compliant except that Ilya is a non-smoker and Shane is addicted to nicotine. The title is a play on Love in the Time of Cholera.

Only stepped in when necessary to keep the wheels of existence turning, then let nature take its course. Allowed people to march right off the cliff, heads held high, blinded by their own hubris. The world is meaningless.
