His hair - left a touch longer since the last time Roy saw him - looks wet, like he’s only recently showered, and Roy feels the familiar twitch of irritation in his throat at Jamie’s flippant use of the Richmond facilities, despite not having played for them for the better part of seven years.
“Hello to you too, Coach,” Jamie grins, wide and toothy, his sharp teeth glinting in the harsh fluorescent light. “Did you miss me?”

Silence filled the small, empty closet Vox remained in, where only static could be heard, which had been at least a month.
The month has been quite gut-wrenching for Vox, to say the least.
He was stuck with his thoughts, and he didn’t like it.
Not one bit..Takes place a month after the Season 2 Finale, and as expected, Vox's Meltdown had aftermath consequences, and the other Vees aren't letting him off the hook that easily, even if they didn't abandon him. Vox is slowly understanding the extent of his mistakes, but can't help but mourn what could've been. If he doesn't let go of the past, things will just continue to drag him down for the worst.

He himself wasn't dependent on his father's opinions or expectations; he was just as stubborn and determined as his father. He didn't care what others thought, and he could defy them, standing up for what was important to him. But Nice... Shang Chao didn't understand why he was like that. Of course, there should be respect in the relationship between a hero and his superiors, but it shouldn't be... Dependence? Dependence on opinion and approval, dependence on how people think of you, whether the impression of you will be correct, which must necessarily be only good. It was interesting whose opinion was more important to Nice - what the fans thought of him or what Shang De thought of him?
Although they had not known each other for very long, over the course of time and throughout all their meetings, Shang Chao had noticed more and more details and had become more and more convinced of his theory. And Nice, probably unwittingly, pushed him more and more towards the truth of his guesses. He was dependent on the approval and opinion of only one person, who became a guiding force for him. Although Nice himself said that everything was fine, Shang Chao had already noticed his excitement and trepidation more than once.
Should Shang Chao share these thoughts with his father? If he were to talk about his assumptions, how would his father react? Perhaps he had already guessed and was using this to keep the young hero in check, fearing disobedience and teenage stubbornness. Shang Chao could allow something like this to happen because he had seen it during one of his internships, but... He really didn't want his father to do something like this to heroes.
