A dual-POV modern adult romantic Jack Frost retelling
(Fair warning, it currently has a cliffhanger ending and I am still working on writing the rest of the story, so you may want to skip this one for now if cliffhangers are unbearable for you; I completely understand that agony!)
Burnt out, ironically, from his icy job, Jack, the second highest-ranking snow sylph in his cloudy home kingdom of Rimesphere, is making his usual tedious rounds on Earth when he spots a crying woman skating by herself on a frozen lake atop a cliff. Enamored by her pain and whimsy and the gold streaks in her hair, he always dreamed of finding love, but never with a human, as sylphs are both unheard and invisible to them. But after an infuriating incident compels him to protect her, he realizes it’s too late, his feelings have already developed, and so he seeks out a way to make the impossible happen—to become part human himself while retaining his snow-sylph powers.

As Yuji's condition can only be explained as an extraordinary pregnancy and everyone is at their wits' end with his belly keeps getting bigger, Yuji who (despite trying hard to pretend, saying he'll be fine and doesn't want to abort the baby, wanting to keep them at least until the day they come to term because he doesn't want to object whatever it is growing inside him as another case of aborted fetuses, just like all his other big brothers) begins to show signs of demotivation, is sapped of his usual bright energy, and is getting sickly every other day.
Until one day Nanami comes back from the forbidden library in the Jujutsu School restricted section, showing them a ripped part of an old scroll, which explains a rare ancient curse that caused the phenomeneon called the babyhaki disease, and that whatever illness is eating away at Yuji's body and soul will be cured once the fetus is out of his system, alive or not.

Hello there, if you're reading this and don't have a clue who the character Daisy Sattler-Grant which I included in the character tags is, it is because this is a sort of ”continuation” of the fic Second Chances that I wrote based on my currently never ending obsession with Grantler. Thus, if you guys are not tired of my beloved post-canon storytime, I wanted to expand it a little, teeny weeny bit further.
These are a collection of one-shots, not following any particular timeline, I just placed 'em in the order the plot bunnies popped in my mind so each chapter is set either forward or backwards in time (again, //after// the end of the main story). It looked like some sort of music video. Waterboy was in the thumbnail, holding a microphone with a gloved hand. He looked emotional, eyes closed and mouth wide open, presumably singing. There was some sort of face paint around his eyes, and the black was streaming down his face like mascara in watered-down rivers. His lips were black as well, spreading color down his chin and neck. His hair was spiked up, and he was wearing dark clothes and some sort of spiked choker. He appeared significantly younger, too, with a more round, babyish face and big, chunky glasses over his eyes. Despite all this, it was undeniably Herman. Robert recognized the sharp slope of his nose, pout of his lips, redness of his hair, and, of course, his ever-present wetness.
