Summary
The territories in the Periphery of the Human Heartlands has been in conflict with a growing force of orcs for months. Peder, heir to the Lord of one of these territories hoped that they would not be touched by that fighting. After all, the territory of Silgam has lent no troops to the human armies, nor is it in the the path of the orcish army as it strikes further west.
This hope threatens to be dashed with the arrival of an unexpected orcish envoy arriving in the city.

Most of the time, when he looked at his friend, he didn’t see a rabbit, he just saw Usagi. And comparably, being with Usagi always made him forget about his turtleness.
