The blizzard's freezing temperatures don't reach them in here, but Viktor still feels the cold in his bones. His hips and knees have been feeling like they're on fire since yesterday. His back aches. But he's also about to spend the first Christmas Eve in years with someone else. With a friend. With a friend who lets him in on family traditions, even though they only met this year.
So Viktor aches, but he promises himself he's going to enjoy this. If this is the only Christmas he'll get to not spend by himself, he's not going to waste his time on his pain. He'll try, at least.
OR
Jayce and Viktor spend four merry Christmases together until Viktor moves away because his unrelenting crush on Jayce is ruining his life. Puzzles are involved.

The “museum,” such as it was, was actually closer to a single installation hosting and cataloguing all the artefacts discovered whilst digging the foundations for the new building. Being as the building stood at an old Roman crossroads, which later became a Norman market square, as well as a frequent gallows, there were all sorts of odds and sods and bits and bobs to unearth. The building’s owners received some sort of tax offset for installing public space within the possible lobby footprint, and so there was a free-admission exhibit of the flotsam and jetsam. Susie herself had even advised on the curation and display of the pieces.
“There are literal skeletons in closets, Susie!”
“In that case, I have some terrible news for you about the Tube, Edward.”
“Well, obviously, but-”
“You know what they say about cocaine on pound notes? They say the same about human DNA and London bricks.”

Summary
After Michael and Star argue, and Star returns to the cave, upset, post-bonfire-slaughter, David told Michael the truth about everything.
They all band together and kill Max. (All of which occurs in "Betrayal" but which is summarized here.)
Time elapses. Michael continues dating both David and Star, on into December. Some tension and doubts remain in his mind, but he wants to give all the guys a Christmas to remember.
Well past the Christmas season at this point, but we're expecting Snowmageddon this weekend. So it still feels a little timely. For me, anyway.
