With the Avengers initiative it's common for one to doubt the capabilities of its members by a simple glance. The hammer of almighty Thor proves to be very godlike, the titanium alloy suit of one Ironman struts its many striking features, the shield of the infamous Captain shows to be unlike any other metal, but one member of this team has a more deceptive shell than the others. Bruce Banner is the Hulk, and not many can tell from looking at him.
Dr. Banner returned to the helicarrier before anyone and stayed there longer because of a certain subject he was asked to study, but this subject has an even more effective camouflage than even he. Upon first inspection he thought he was looking at a flower, but he found a beast residing within. Caged, alone, filled with hatred... Does he actually have feelings for this creature? Will this determine his loyalty?

Tim knew Jason was alive, there was no body, thus no proof of death. He knew Jason was alive, because somewhere out there in the wide depth of the multiverse, he knew his spark still shone. He knew this to be true, and he was going to find him. He was going to prove that he wasn't losing his mind (even if it felt like it) that he could do this.
But what will he do now that he found a way to travel to a whole other universe? Will he find his way to Jason? Will he be able to go home again? Will Jason even want to come with him? And why is he starting to lose so much time again?
But more importantly, who are all these people that seem so set on making sure he is ok? He's fine. Completely fine. Even if the voices are getting worse and he feels a bit like he is breaking. He'll be fine, he just needs to get Jason home. Then everyone can be normal again.
Or: the Tim focused sequel about found family and rekindling bonds. A character study into trauma, and a deep dive into Tim and Jason's complicated sibling bond.
Follow up to Stray Little Bat (but works as a stand alone). Going to be super slow to update until SLB is done, but I wanted to get it in chronologically.

The crimson stains spread across the parchment he had been diligently filling out with the dark blue ballpoint pen he had procured from one of the receptionists earlier in the day after his previous pen ran short of ink. It was the third encounter today as he breathed deeply through his one good nostril with a deep sigh of resignation escaping him on the exhale. He reached for the handkerchief in his breast pocket, pointedly ignoring the gathering of scientists and security officers that had fallen suddenly silent in the middle of their report about releasing lickers into the city ruins to collect environmental combat data.
The scarlet color soaked into the clean and tidy fabric as Zeno pressed it against the left side of his nose. With his free hand, he reached for a clean new sheet to begin transcribing the entire meeting so far onto the new document. “You can stop staring at me.”
He didn't even need to look up to know there were numerous eyes pinning him in place.

Runaan wavers in his convictions and gathers the other assassins to her cause. He will have to learn to let Rayla forge her own path, as she will learn to step out of the shadows cast by all of her parents. These human princes show a level of honor and respect to the elves that the assassins are unused to, and both sides must question everything they were taught.
Note: major character death is in reference to King Harrow, who is not actually dead, but everyone in the story will believe that he is and it's narrated as such, so it's getting the warning anyways. No one else is going to die I promise.

Like most things, Izuku didn’t particularly want to start his career as a vigilante. In the same way he didn’t want to go to school every day to quirkist teachers, or how he didn’t want to be the victim of bullying and assault daily, oh, and he especially didn’t want his mom to run off and abandon him.
But, there are laws and there are legalities, and in this day and age in Japan, his quirk status leaves more wiggle room than should be allowed.
vigilantism had a similar situation. The laws stating something along the lines of: ‘a person, or persons, who is caught practicing unauthorized quirk usage for heroic acts, disregarding self-defense, will be prosecuted and may be fined up to-‘. Yeah, yeah, blah blah, the important part there is ‘quirk usage’, and fortunately (or unfortunately) that didn’t apply to Izuku.

Or, an author who’s tired of unrealistic fics where a teenage vigilante is trying to keep too many secrets, and decided to write one for themselves.
