Peter had been working at The Daily Bugle for about a year now, and all in all, it wasn’t too bad of a gig.
Sure, he got paid for taking the most intricate selfies known to man, and his boss might’ve had a slight vendetta against his alter ego, but surprisingly, it had actually been alright as far as jobs go.
Which is why when Jameson calls him into his office on a regular Friday afternoon, he’s expecting something usual; maybe he just needs some pictures retaken, or for Peter to cover for a sick coworker.
“I need someone to come with me to L.A. next week.”
He wasn’t expecting this.

Summary
While on a trip to Gotham, Auny May ends up in the hospital and Peter ends up in foster care. While Happy scrambles to get them both back in New York, Peter tries to lay low in the crime capital of the world. Soon enough, Spider-Man is being listed in the news as missing and meanwhile, famous photojournalist Peter Parker is found taking photos of the infamous Bats. The chaos will probably blow over relatively quickly and Peter isn't concerned, not until he wakes up one day and he's been adopted by the Drakes.
Takes place post-Blip. Tony is alive.

He can't take a day off. And he can't let anyone know how close he is to slipping and bringing all of Rose Hill down with him.

Tim knew Jason was alive, there was no body, thus no proof of death. He knew Jason was alive, because somewhere out there in the wide depth of the multiverse, he knew his spark still shone. He knew this to be true, and he was going to find him. He was going to prove that he wasn't losing his mind (even if it felt like it) that he could do this.
But what will he do now that he found a way to travel to a whole other universe? Will he find his way to Jason? Will he be able to go home again? Will Jason even want to come with him? And why is he starting to lose so much time again?
But more importantly, who are all these people that seem so set on making sure he is ok? He's fine. Completely fine. Even if the voices are getting worse and he feels a bit like he is breaking. He'll be fine, he just needs to get Jason home. Then everyone can be normal again.
Or: the Tim focused sequel about found family and rekindling bonds. A character study into trauma, and a deep dive into Tim and Jason's complicated sibling bond.
Follow up to Stray Little Bat (but works as a stand alone). Going to be super slow to update until SLB is done, but I wanted to get it in chronologically.

“Alright, Storm, strike a pose.” Peter said, unenthusiastic. Johnny complied, striking a number of different poses for whatever magazine this was going to be put on when all this was over.
After it was done, Peter walked out, not saying a word to Johnny as he brushed by him. Johnny didn’t know why, but he felt slightly disheartened by all of it. As he exited the studio, he noticed it was beginning to rain. Great, Johnny thought, Just what I needed.
As he contemplated what to do, he caught a glimpse of Peter out of the corner of his eye. Peter had headphones on, listening to music. Johnny made the reckless decision to try and get his attention.
“Hey, Peter, wait up!” Johnny shouted out, forgetting that Peter was wearing headphones. When Johnny finally caught up to him and tapped him on the shoulder, Peter stopped in his tracks, looking at Johnny with confusion in his eyes, both of them standing under Peter’s umbrella.

Peter knows what Stephen had just done, he had just sent him to another universe. This had to be done to prevent the collapsing of his universe. Peter was the main source, the cause of all this destruction. They had made a desperate attempt to migrate him to a universe where he had never existed. The grime of the rooftop hovers on the layer of rainfall. His clothes had easily picked up the dirty moisture. Peter didn’t even notice it, all his attention was on the guy that was wearing his father’s face.
Or Peter involuntarily moves to another universe where his father is alive. He plans to avoid his father as much as possible while trying to start back up his vigilantism.
