Blue optics flashed, her smaller frame slinking towards where he sat in her casual walk. Elita's servo gripped his arm, before leaning her helm onto his shoulder in support. Her touch practically burning his platting with warmth.
"Since when were you the worrier between us?" she smirked.
"Someone has to be," he mumbled.
Gentle yet rough servos cradled his faceplate, "You have an army and they are as every bit committed to you as you are to them. You can trust them to share the burden. Trust them to protect our gift."
Her derma on his was soft, warm, and electric....
...But Optimus woke up in his quarters. Cold besides for the heat of his working forge, it's steady pulses counting down until the arrival of his newspark.

Summary
Six months earlier Orion had his whole life planned ahead of him as general of The Citadel. D-16 and him being the closest of pals and working together against enemy factions outside of the walls. How was he wrong when during a mission outside that he’d meet a group of people like him abandoned by their creators to rust. Orion to make sense to his friend but the bot didn’t want to listen, his devotion and admiration towards Sentinel Prime and general Howard. Their disagreement brought the birth of the two factions between the modified humans, Autobots and Decepticons.
The Autobots had to hide in the lowest parts of the city, trying to survive on the minimum amount of food and equipment they had. It was only a matter of time until they’d surrendered but Optimus had to try something. No human or Cybertronian needed to live in this reign of terror and famine while the rich lived their full lives. He wanted for all to be free, to live as equal and for that he needed the AllSpark to give life back to the earth than hoard it for themselves. But life wasn’t always kind to everyone and brought unwanted surprises to the Autobots and even more Optimus Prime.

He shouldn’t have allowed this to happen. When Blitzwing propositioned him he should have said no, at least he should have realized it was a mistake after the first time. Not to have been looking forward to their secret meetings, yearning for the hungry kisses and the want in Blitzwing’s optics when they met. However Optimus had been weak to it, the way they made him feel.
And now he was sparked. The fragile thing lying next to his own, still not old enough to move into the gestational chamber and begin developing a protoform. A betrayal to everything he thought he believed in.
