The atmosphere was tense.

Blue optics flashed, her smaller frame slinking towards where he sat in her casual walk. Elita's servo gripped his arm, before leaning her helm onto his shoulder in support. Her touch practically burning his platting with warmth.
"Since when were you the worrier between us?" she smirked.
"Someone has to be," he mumbled.
Gentle yet rough servos cradled his faceplate, "You have an army and they are as every bit committed to you as you are to them. You can trust them to share the burden. Trust them to protect our gift."
Her derma on his was soft, warm, and electric....
...But Optimus woke up in his quarters. Cold besides for the heat of his working forge, it's steady pulses counting down until the arrival of his newspark.

Summary
The repeated thunderstorms of Cybertron were one thing a cybertronian had to get used to in Iacon. Loud accompaniment of roaring thunder and repeated melody of falling acid teardrops raining onto buildings and the planet. One would need to become used to the rare and harsh storms that blew through Iacons suburbs, causing mass destruction and even casualties. Despite the deaths of few cybertronians, it was always ignored and never addressed.

Ratchet sat at the console like always. Typing complicated codes into a new program that he and Rafeal had been working on earlier. It was a new program that would help speed up the process of loading a certain command into the computer, but it was still in the beginning stages and as the time ticked by he told himself that it would only be a few more kliks and then he would go to recharge. Even though he knew he would most likely only sneak away in the wee early hours of the morning before coming back out to make it seem like he had been in his own quarters before everyone else got up.
He hated the nagging, especially from Optimus when he was scolded. Though the red and blue mech shouldn't be the one to speak to him about such matters. What did humans usually say they were? Hippos? No Hypocrites.
