Soundwave would never admit that he enjoyed the company of any bot, but Shockwave was tolerable most of the time.
That made his morning a little better.After waking up and finding out he was late for a meeting on strategy with Starscream, being summoned by Megatron to help him retreat after an Energon raid gone wrong, getting yelled at by Starscream over being late, and then getting relocated to Cybertron to look for potential Autobot activity nearby, Soundwave was not displeased he got to work with Shockwave again.
Shockwave is absolutely ecstatic he get's to see and work with Soundwave.

After four decades of being trapped in his cassette player form, separated from his fellow Decepticons, ripped away from his cassettes, and left to collect dust in an antique store, Soundwave finds himself being bought by quite an annoying girl. She's a lot more stubborn than most other humans he's used to, and way too curious about him. That could be dangerous... but maybe it could also benefit him in some way. Once he finds that he can manipulate her dreams similarly to how he sends out communication signals, he realizes he can use this as a way to convince her to set him free. If only she remembered those dreams once morning came...
