Summary
Shockwave's experiments have left both factions amnesiac, partially organic, and enslaved. Their new Quintesson overlords are forcing them to operate some kind of mine.
Jazz managed to escape early on, but is now marooned in the wilderness of an alien world, living off the land, with only a loose plan for tracking down a space port; Optimus has lost his memory; Prowl is battling down virus-ridden dysphoria.
But the Autobots are not alone.
And perhaps there is some kind of (in-)famous revolutionary lurking around who might have the right force of personality and sheer stubbornness to spark a slave revolt...

This fanfiction deals with the G1, Prime, and Armada continuities and the main characters are Knock Out and G1 Starcream. This story takes place directly after Breakdown's death in the Prime universe and prior to Starscream's coronation.

Jazz had never expected for one of his cousins and bonded to pass away one cold evening, leaving behind a pair of splitspark twins. He knew of them, had met them once or twice, but when the rest of his family began to pass them over and over again, he knew he need to step in.
The only problem is that his work is only willing to wait for so long. He needs to go back. He works weird hours.

Prowl hated that running was the only option he had. He needed to get away, but with his certifications to become an enforcers around the corner, he thought he could hold on. Things are different now. Things have been different for a while. Cybertron was dead, he rarely had time for his trine, mechs around him just kept falling. Everything was shattered, there was no use trying to pick up the pieces. Yet here he was regardless.
Each finding was noted with methodical precision, no shadow left unchecked. An inner mechanism released, letting the grayed hood lift with ease. He let out a slow vent, anxieties lessening and battle protocols starting to dwindle. The steady crinkling of plastic seemed deafening in the warehouse.
