Prowl could have been having a much worse day (75%.)
Prowl could have also been having a much better day. (43.8%.)Overall, his day was approaching ‘not great.’
You could make a case for said ‘not great’-ness starting when he first accidentally warped into an experimental Quintesson weapons base with violently angry little foot soldiers that seemed to have a love for biting at anything they could reach, but Prowl really considered it starting when the unfamiliar mech limped at unsafe speeds into the desecrated room with him.

“Query: why does the Terran attempt to protect Megatron?” Soundwave questioned her. “Twitch Malto does not know Megatron. The real Megatron.”
“Because he is Mum’s friend!” Twitch snapped back at the Audiobot. “Because he is my friend! Don’t act like you know him!”
Soundwave was silent for a long moment. He was silent for so long that Twitch began to think he had slipped into some weird stasis but Soundwave responded to her accusation abruptly.
“Soundwave thought he knew Megatron,” he replied and Twitch swore that the Decepticon sounded bitter, hurt even. “Soundwave did not.”

A chance encounter with Soundwave leaves Megatron in a serious condition, his mind shattered and trapped in his past as D16. With Ratchet on Cybertron, his only hope to ever recover is the illusive Knock-Out who disappeared after defecting from the Decepticons years before the war ended. Someone who only Megatron himself could find.
Deep scars begin to be reopened as the consequences of a foolish and rash decision.

Megatron has lost the war. In a last ditch effort to save himself he claims the right to join the lost light on its quest to find the Knights of Cybertron. Washed up and tired, he now has to deal with being on a ship where his Co-Captain and high command hate him and everyone else treats him like a living plague. What a sad final show for the universe's greatest War Lord. Will Megatron’s end be nothing more then the flaccid blowing out of a candle before he's brought back to Cybertron and put to death or is there still more to life before his final judgement?

Summer has come and gone, as has fall and the brutal Dakota winters. An entire year since Shockwave’s arrival to earth and our teams’ separation. It hasn’t been a quiet year. Far from it. Shockwave has hit the ground running with his predacon cloning production. And every time we lock horns, another predacon is at Megatron’s beck and call. Also, how the fuck is Shockwave planning on Cyberforming earth?
Just add it to the list of world-ending things we need to stop, I guess.
Despite the constant battles, something has . . . changed. With me. Going through the usual motions has stayed the same, but it all just seems . . . easier. The days go by quicker. I smile more.I know, I’m just as stunned myself.
I thought I had confronted all of the past I needed to when we were on Cybertron. But, there’s some old ties here on Earth that are rearing their heads – but unlike the horrors of Shockwave’s laboratory and the DJD’s torture methods, they are the source of some pretty good memories.
Just hope it doesn’t put the Colonel over the edge, I piss him off enough as it is.

I. Getaway stole the Lost Light, and nobody is happy about it except him. In the ensuing fracas, the Necroworld and one of the Warworlds were destroyed. The Vox Destron (Ravage), the Emperor and Prime of Cybertron (Starscream and Optimus) and the rulers of the Warworlds (Deathsaurus and Esmeral) are all determined to do something about the situation. And so is Rodimus Prime.
II. Matrix, Matrix, who's got the Matrix? Rodimus returned the Matrix to Optimus before the war ended. It was broken and it hasn't been helpful at all. But now it's active, and Optimus isn't in control of whatever it's doing.
III. Galvatron refuses to give up his claim to leadership of the Decepticon movement. If Ravage wants to be the leader of Destron entire, she'll have to take his claim away the old-fashioned way--by killing him herself, single-handedly.
Content Advisory: Canon soup with IDW/G1 base. This series began as a Soundwave/Ravage MTMTE fix-it fic. Heavily seasoned with Japanese G1 and TFP. By now you should know what to expect from me. If you haven't been reading The Voice of Stanix, do yourself a favour and start with Diamonds & Rust. You'll be very confused if you start reading here.

Summary
Since Luna-1, no one knows what to do about Pharma. The rogue doctor awaits his pending fate in a makeshift cell on the Lost Light, with his wings bound and alt-mode restricted. After the apocalyptic events of Dark Cybertron, Pharma doesn’t expect he’ll survive to trial. Even Megatron’s fate has been put on hold until Prime and the Autobots salvage some kind of legal system. In the interim, the Lost Light remains grounded. Injured and infirm bots overrun the med bay team. Since Rodimus won’t depart Cybertron until their ship, crew, and allies are up and running, Ratchet suggests they put their captive surgeon to work. First Aid is less than pleased.
For his part, Pharma never thought he’d join a quest. He knows he won’t last long once his past–and the D.J.D.–catches up with him. It’s only a matter of time.
