“What are you talking about, you pathetic insect!” Lord Megatron snapped at this…‘Chaos Terran’.
“You were an Autobot, right? You first betrayed the Decepticons, became an Autobot but now you’re a Decepticon again?” Spitfire asked, confused. “How does that work?”
“Seems like you’re a bit of a flake, if you ask me,” Aftermath pointed out.
“SILENCE!” Lord Megatron roared but he was only greeted with laughter.

Continuation of Earthspark Season 4.Lord Megatron finds himself in a world where nothing makes sense, where his Decepticons brand him a traitor and the Autobots consider him a close friend. He desperately tries to pick up the pieces of his life, all the while being plagued with visions of a life where he was once happy.

Summary
“Query: why does the Terran attempt to protect Megatron?” Soundwave questioned her. “Twitch Malto does not know Megatron. The real Megatron.”
“Because he is Mum’s friend!” Twitch snapped back at the Audiobot. “Because he is my friend! Don’t act like you know him!”
Soundwave was silent for a long moment. He was silent for so long that Twitch began to think he had slipped into some weird stasis but Soundwave responded to her accusation abruptly.
“Soundwave thought he knew Megatron,” he replied and Twitch swore that the Decepticon sounded bitter, hurt even. “Soundwave did not.”

A chance encounter with Soundwave leaves Megatron in a serious condition, his mind shattered and trapped in his past as D16. With Ratchet on Cybertron, his only hope to ever recover is the illusive Knock-Out who disappeared after defecting from the Decepticons years before the war ended. Someone who only Megatron himself could find.
Deep scars begin to be reopened as the consequences of a foolish and rash decision.

Summary
“Lor-Lord Megatron!” He squeaked, terrified, trying to shuffle away from the horrifying intense gaze of the Decepticon Lord. Sure he was technically their ‘carrier’ but he was still scary and Rumble had seen what happened to those who failed him, no matter how much favour they carried. “I was not crying, I was just… I was just… resting! Yes, resting!”
Lord Megatron stared at him, face expressionless for a long moment before a frown stretched across his face.
“Unlike Starscream you are not good at lying,” Lord Megatron rumbled, the bass in his voice seeming to shake his tiny frame. “Do not try to deceive me, Rumble. I tolerate it from Starscream but I will not tolerate it from you.”

“Loxodonta cyclotis,” Soundwave spoke, reaching out a servo and allowing the creature to wrap its large facial appendage around it. “African Forest Elephant. Critically Endangered.”
“It is an inferior lifeform,” Shockwave intoned as he stared at the beast. “It has no purpose. It will die like all life on this miserable rock when we are done with it.”
”Soundwave senses intelligence in it,” Soundwave argued, his attention caught completely by the large beast. “It is a peaceful creature.”

Summary
“Lord Megatron,” Soundwave greeted.
Megatron grunted. He lumbered over until he stood by Soundwave, so close that their arms brushed. Soundwave swiftly readjusted his position, standing to attention with his arms crossed behind his back. He knew many of his lord’s moods, and he didn't particularly feel like becoming a hole in the wall. There was a lot that he could get away with — more than, say, Starscream — but he had enough self-respect to play it safe.
OR; Five times that Soundwave fell in love with Megatron, and the one time that he regretted it.

Summary
Months after being betrayed by GHOST, the Cybertronians on Earth are enjoying the first true peace since the beginning of their civil war. Hope for the future of their race exists in the form of the Terrans, who have befriended Autobots and Decepticons alike. However, Megatron quickly realizes that peace is harder to navigate than conflict, and that it may not be possible to repent for his actions during the war. The Terrans look up to him, especially Twitch. But how is he supposed to guide the new generation when he doesn't even understand where he, himself, went so wrong all those years ago?
Or: Guilt is a very powerful thing. Megatron has a near-endless supply, and no-one else seems to think this is a problem.

Summary
Megatron used to hate this blue ball of dirt when he arrived on this planet all those years ago. The grime, the fragility, the sheer insignificance of it on a grander scale. Years later, walking among the people, admiring its beauty, and guiding the next generation of Cybertronians. Cybertronians that were components of both Cybertron and Earth.
How did this even happen in the first place? And Megatron couldn’t help but wonder: if he didn’t fall in love with Earth, would he have loved the Terrans all the same?

But this story isn’t about the winning half of the spark. The one that won the war. No.
This is about the half that lost.
