Soundwave cut him off — the only being in four galaxies that could do so without retaliation — by resetting his vocalizer with a harsh sawtooth buzz. He set his shoulders back and lifted his chin as Rumble shrank by his feet.
“Optimus Prime: has designated Megatron’s sparkling as ‘Grease.’”
Or: how schemes, slipshod spark-blockers, and sparkling fever ended the Cybertronian Great War.

The seekers are all successfully sparked...except for Starscream. Though he seems to be sad about that. Megatron figures it was bound to happen eventually, though he had no indication of his Communications Officer taking an interest.
Soundwave was interested, then very interested, and then he came to terms with his desire for another sparkling. Starscream wanted one too. It was almost perfect, coming together to be a mutual interest. But he has to figure out seeker courting rituals, and court Skywarp and Thundercracker. How does one court a flight frame built for war?

Luckily, he drags poor Nova Storm into the mix and trusts her with the entire process while Nightbird is out keeping their boss distracted. Disaster after disaster strikes until Nova feels like her head's about to come off right before the party is set and their leader is due to arrive home at any minute. Hopefully, she doesn't mess things up because she already sent the DJD to go get another cake.

“Well then, why not something like this?” Alex exclaimed excitedly, pulling out one of his Transformer action figures and showing it to the truck. There was the loud clacking and shunting of Optimus’ transformation seams splitting and hissing as the Autobot leader drew himself out of his Alt-form and into his robot mode.
He loomed over Alex before picking him up and eyeing the little figure with uncertainty. It was of an earlier model of his only the bright red paint of his chassis was painted with decorative blue flames.
“I’ve never been painted like that in my life,” Optimus pointed at it, confused.
