Summary
I really liked Desert Sanctuary's concept. So I wanted to do a *small contribution.
*I lied, it's BIG. Over-arching plot, characters from a different franchise integrated into this universe (Mainly Transformers), and most importantly it's not canon to the actual DS with some of my headcanons sprinkled here and there.

Summary
After the events of Transformers: Prime, Starscream is beaten to near-death by Predaking, leaving him completely blind. When a ground bridge suddenly opens in front of him, Starscream takes the chance at rescue and crawls through, only to find himself on the Nemesis with the remaining Autobots. Supplies are limited, and Starscream is forced to live without optics until a suitable replacement set is discovered or built from scratch. Alone, blind, without a leader to serve (or overthrow), or even a war to fight anymore, Starscream is left completely powerless for the first time, having no choice but to submit to the Autobots or take his chances on the ruins of Cybertron. Optimus Prime is dead, but the Autobots honor his spark by giving the seeker one final chance to change his ways, as they know he would have. Starscream, stripped of all of his power, is forced to face what is left, finding nothing but a husk of the mech he was before the war. Is it truly possible to change after losing so much? Or is he doomed to repeat his past mistakes?

Summary
Shrapnel, an outcast, and Kickback, a loner by choice, are two Insecticons driven together by fate. The world around them is becoming more unpredictable, with new threats at every corner. Cybertron is changing rapidly, in ways that they do not understand. As they travel, they learn more about one another, and these new threats before them. As the Great War looms on the horizon, a personal enemy takes form. It’s time to band together, or die trying.
This story takes place in an AU based on G1, IDW1, and IDW2, but is otherwise soup.

Summary
Even after escaping to Earth, the they still can’t seem to catch a break. Starvation, human’s attack, some outsiders dumb war, etc.
So maybe not everything is working out as they had thought, but at least the three of them are still together. And whatever dumb deity can drag them from Kickback’s cold, graying frame.
Too bad things are starting to get more complicated.
