Often it was speculated that the pair had some kind of relationship behind closed doors. However, when out and amongst the rest of the men, the medic followed his partner around like a puppy. Pale eyes focused up on the back of the giant's head at all times. Whenever anyone tried to communicate with the doctor it usually ended poorly. When the doctor was tapped or even lightly brushed against it would cause the man to either flee back to one of the rooms left in Medic's care or if escape was impossible, Medic would stare nervously at the person who'd caught his attention with a tight-lipped smile.Series

Mike and Will make eye contact, and Will winks (which he somehow actually pulls off, the bastard). The two boys then start giggling until they’re both laughing, and Lucas is looking at them in an amused fashion. The three of them chat a little more, and then it’s Mike’s stop.
“This is my stop, but I’ll see you two around!” He tells them.

Props to Joe Keery and Gaten Matarazzo for killing their scenes together in Vol 2, but we were all robbed of Eddie Munson surviving s4 somehow and then Steve being the little bitch that he is to Eddie about almost killing himself and/or Dustin instead in s5. Then them fucking about it.
That's the only point of this fic: to fix what I now want to have happened after watching that scene where Steve/Dustin face off about Eddie.

The concept of what would happen after defeating Vecna hadn’t ever materialized in Will Byers’ head. And, now that he was living it, he kind of wished he’d been more prepared. Trying to hide his nightmares, the level of stoned he was, and his very, very new relationship with Mike Wheeler was nothing short of impossible with the wave of Religious Paranoia infecting Hawkins post-Upside-Down.
