His father had gone into hard-core drugs, no longer caring about financial burdens or his family, nor wanting to take care of them. Subaru's life was truly hell on earth.
Depression was Subaru's only friend, as school made it no better, with the subtle bullying, scars, brusies, and the amount of fights he got into. Not that his parents cared.. But it all changed one night he closed his eyes, praying for something different. He wanted to still try and contain his kind heart, though he knew that could never be the case. His wished to be rid of this world that abandoned him, that gave him these unnecessary trials.
And his wish, came true...in the worse way possible.
AN: Subaru is isekaied to Gusteko one year before initially meeting Emilia. He will live his life in Gusteko before fleeing to Lugunica.
