“Hey! Who is that girl?!”
“Isn’t she that “Dragon lady " ?"
“Some say she is so strong that she is not considered “human”
“Does she have a boyfriend?”
[Seriously, Why can’t they just say it in front of my face?!] A girl in her young adult years thought as she walked through her campus.
As she arrived at her class, she sat down at the front.
[Today is the collaboration class. Almost every engineering student major would be there]
She then noticed someone beside her, a guy who was pressing the buttons on his watch.
[What is he doing?]
"what are you doing there?"
No answer would be met.
The sounds of beeps and boops could be heard.
[Did...he just ignore me?]
“Hey, I am calling you”
He kept tinkering with his watch.
[Seriously…this guy!]
She then grabbed his wrist.
"Huh? HEY!",
"I asked you a question"
"Wh--what?"
"What.were.you.doing?"
"Just tinkering with my watch?".
[Why does he look confused?]
"See? Is that so hard?"
[Seriously, where is this guy even from? Mars?]
He was indeed confused.
"Okay? sorry...i guess?"He said as he got back to tinkering with his watch.
[...How did this guy survive this long?]
“Morning all of you”, The professor said as he entered the class.
She looked in front of the class, paying attention to the professor.
“As you all know, today is the collaboration class and for today’s class is you’re all going to make a group for the big project next week”
[A group project? I guess the doc wants to know how each different department can work with one another]
“The groups have already been assigned, use the whole week to make a collaborative invention, and I and the other department professor will evaluate”
Several speeches and formalities later,
“Okay, class dismissed, the groups are listed in this laminated paper there"
[Wait, That’s it?]
She went in front of the class and looked for her name.
[Well, I guess more free time for me]
She then found her name.
“Ryoko Manson”
[Okay and who am I with? I am fine with anyone honestly]
“Hmm?”, she mumbled
[Lei chen? Who is that?]
“Hey ! Are any of you called Lei Chen?”
No answer would be met.
Sounds of boops and beeps filled the silence.
[Huh, did he skip class or something?]
She then noticed everyone was pointing at…the guy who was tinkering with his watch again.
Her left eye twitched.
[You’ve…got to be kidding me! I am with HIM?]
