Summary
Magic had once existed in the world but it had died out thousands of years ago. In the present, barely anyone believed magic ever existed. It was a thing of fairytales and dreams.
There were a few believers, one of them being Elijah McKinnon. He was a treasure hunter and did anything he could to find and reawaken magic into the world.
There was a story, a legend really, that there were three Deathly Hallows. Once united into the right hands, magic would reawaken into the world.
Elijah became obsessed with finding the Hallows and eventually it resulted in his disappearance.
Marlene McKinnon inherited the obsession, though for her it was more about finding her dad than the Hallows.
She spent years digging up any piece of information, with the help of her friends, in the hope that something would lead her to her father.
Her friends noticed how unhealthy Marlene was becoming because of their pursuit and made her drop it before it would result in her death and disappearance as well.
Years passed before a new lead was dropped into Marlene’s lap. A lead that could lead her straight to the Deathly Hallows and her father.
