He turns around. An old 80’s television is sitting right there on the ground, just behind the spot he'd woken up from before. A black and white sea of shaky, crunchy static runs across the entire screen, emitting a soft glow in the near-lightless forest, and a quiet droning that feels loud in Leo’s head. There’s no wires, antennas or even a remote, and yet the TV is somehow switched on.
He can just barely see his own reflection in the screen, though it looks more like a silhouette without his face visible. Strangely enough, it almost feels like it’s staring back at him–
A shapeless voice echoes urgently in his head, “Find your twin. He needs you.”
And then, without warning, the TV shuts itself off.

So I thought, in this situation, what if he did exactly what I did the first time I hooked up with someone and didn’t know what the protocol was after it was over, what the next steps were, how to be like everyone else in a moment that felt amazing and confusing at the same time. What if he just asked?
Canon divergent from the first hookup seen in HR s01ep01. Some things are from the show - aged up Marleau and Hunter, mainly - but the timeline is a mix of both. The stench of salt and decay clung to the air, heavy enough to choke on. My boots sank into mud and debris as I moved through what used to be Hoshima Town. The streets were drowned, cars half submerged, and windows shattered.
“What the hell happened here?” I muttered.
Beside me, Best Jeanist adjusted his collar, “No reports of storms, no seismic activity. This wasn’t nature.”
Endeavor stepped ahead. “Hoshima was known for its still waters, the sea so calm it mirrored the stars. Now it’s a graveyard.” His voice was low, edged with restrained anger.
Bodies floated between buildings, faces pale and still. The smell of brine and rot pressed into my lungs. Three thousand lives gone without warning.
Jeanist’s voice cracked slightly. “An entire town erased overnight.”
I kept walking, scanning through the haze, when Endeavor halted near a collapsed carriage. He was speaking quietly.
I approached. “Endeavor, what—”
Then I saw her.
A small girl crouched inside the rusted carriage, drenched, shaking, eyes glassy with fear. Her tiny fingers clutched her knees, knuckles white.
My heart sank. “A… child survived?”

Shen Yuan blinked up at the grey sky.... huh? sky? The last thing he remembered was cursing out that godforsaken novel written by the hack of an author. Oh, that's right, he'd choked on an old meat bun, how embarrassing. A bright greenish screen blinked in front of him, nearly scaring him out of his skin. A line of text was written on it and before he had a chance to read it a voice screeched in his ears. Shen Yuan sat up abruptly from where he was laying on the dirt. He clutched his head in a desperate attempt to at least quiet it down,
"Welcome N002 to the world of Proud Immortal Demon's Way!! :D" The, albeit minimal, cheery tone tied with the google translate voice sent chills down his spine. The Screen then expanded to show a character menu, and from the looks of it, it was his. It read:[Shen Yuan]
[Role: Scum Villain, Shen Jiu's Twin Brother]
[Mission: Die at the Perfect Time to Blacken the Scum Villain to Max!]Shen yuan almost threw up reading those last words,
"Huh?!?" He screamed.
