The guy’s dressed like disco incarnate. Broad shoulders filling out a green blazer with odd patches on the back, flared pants that are some shade between orange and yellow. All paired with an odd pair of crocodile heels that clack aggressively on the ground when he moves. And boy, does he move. He talks with his hands—gesturing along with his words, as if to better convey his point. And he steps when he gestures. A particularly sharp finger in one direction gets him a small step to the left, a clack of his heels against the ground.
Meanwhile, the other man at his side holds his arms neatly behind his back. Surveying the scene. The same weird patches, but this time sewn onto a neon orange jacket with a popped collar. He’s much more composed than his … err, friend.
Scratch that. Martin narrows his eyes.

Summary
Tony Stark and James Barnes don't get along. Maybe it was the whole "Hey, I killed your parents " thing, or the "I was once a villainous murderer" thing. Either way, they don't work together for sanity's sake. Not until now. Manhattan is under invasion, and differences must be put aside. Nothing goes to plan; Iron Man is down, and Tony's lungs are damaged by smoke inhalation. James, too, isn't in good shape, maybe because Tony stabbed him, maybe because something is very wrong with his prosthetic arm. Probably both.
They must traverse the city turned warzone to try to reach their fellow Avengers, but between them and help are traps, bombs, and teams of soldiers that herd further and further from help. Survival pushes the pair together, and slowly the walls between them break down, and trust grows. Tony starts to see beyond the past, to the fragile human behind the legend of the Winter Soldier.
Their bad day has turned into a bad week when they are taken captive by the enemy. An enemy whose plan is far more diabolical than any of them could have imagined. Now, they only have each other. What horrible fate is planned for them, and how will they survive? More importantly, how will they escape?

Grian was in for a lecture when he got back. Which reminded him. He still didn’t remember what had happened between the server crash and ending up here, but It was time to do away with this nonsense and finagle his way out of here. He mentally pulled up his player code, thankful that he didn’t need any light to see the lines of text. But unlike the usual scrolling pages of information, he was met with three lines.
