Summary
I recommend reading the first fic Beyond The Mirage first to get context for this fic.
After following the events in Los Angeles, Mirage and Noah’s relationship continue. They continue working on their flaws more so Mirage’s reluctance of asking for help and Noah learning how to be open and connect with people. They both work together in G.I.JOE occasionally being accompanied by Bumblebee, Acree, Wheel Jack, Optimus and other G.I.JOE members. They also have intimacy struggles. After a few missions that span across 9 years and many experiences, they both plan on getting married but face one issue, they both legally can’t get married due to a lot of reasons.
During this time, Optimus and Breanna find solace with each other and go to each other for comfort. Charlie and Bumblebee finally reunite but during all this time Arcee is struggling horribly, she misses her girlfriend and she doesn't know if Aileron is still alive.
Decepticons always like meddling and getting involved with anything so there's no time to stand around and wait

She's a lot more stubborn than most other humans he's used to, and way too curious about him. That could be dangerous... but maybe it could also benefit him in some way. Once he finds that he can manipulate her dreams similarly to how he sends out communication signals, he realizes he can use this as a way to convince her to set him free. If only she remembered those dreams once morning came...

Lord Megatron stared at him, face expressionless for a long moment before a frown stretched across his face.
“Unlike Starscream you are not good at lying,” Lord Megatron rumbled, the bass in his voice seeming to shake his tiny frame. “Do not try to deceive me, Rumble. I tolerate it from Starscream but I will not tolerate it from you.”
