Twitch never meant for things to go this way. She only wanted to help Robby, to take him on one of their nightly adventures and lift his spirits. She would’ve never suggested it if she’d known it would lead them straight into the path of two of the most dangerous Decepticons.
Meanwhile, the solution to Shockwave and Soundwave’s problems drops from the sky right into their waiting arms- quite literally. They might be Decepticons, but what kind of monsters would they be if they left a sparkling all alone?

It was thrilling and, more than anything, addictive. He was the centre of attention. The crowd was there for him.

All cybertronians have ingrained in their very sparks an absolute repulsion towards hurting sparklings and a base need to protect and care for them. This is standard to most species, though cybertronians seem to feel it more than others; a command rather than a request. This is perhaps nature’s way of ensuring that the few sparklings that come into the world remain safe and cared for. It is logical. However, no one expected sparkling protocols to take over when cybertronians first came in contact with humans. Perhaps humans and cybertronians are more closely related than first thought.

They both struggle to not interface with each other. They learn more of each other's past and how to move forward. While also learning more about their forms now that they have a cog. Will things go back or can they go forward. -
