Summary
Being in the wrong place at the wrong time seems to be the way for certain humans who run into the autobots while they are fighting the decepticons. For a seemingly lonely, and homeless girl, meeting the autobots is set to change her life forever. However, things are not as easy as the autobots first learn. Especially as they find her to bring her back to the base for safety, it becomes immediately apparent that she is different from humans. However, they learn this is because of evil men who kidnapped her as a toddler and forced her to endure cruel experiments to the point she is no longer considered a human. Especially as she has a side to her that requires her to hunt for a specific food source. Something she has no choice but to eat to survive.
The autobots search for the people responsible for the illegal experimentation that has caused the girl to lose her identity, and become something people would see as a monster. Worse still the fate of her own life depends on these people. It becomes obvious when the human part of her slowly begins to disappear, losing control of herself and sense of self. The autobots do not know if they can ever fix her without stripping the very human side of her forever.

Dreadwing looked out over the edge of the flight deck, surveying the area around the Well of AllSparks as Hadean rose over the horizon. His daily ritual, to watch the sun rise over their reborn world, and center himself in peace before he started his day. He was not the only mecha to do such a thing, but he was the only one to come up onto the flight deck.
Almost the only one, he corrected himself as he felt the brush of an EM field before the bump against his elbow.
He looked down at the green spark nudging him, the faint traces of blue flickering within confirming more than the slight tugging on his own spark just who this was.
“Morning, brother,” he said.

Skyquake's spark returned from the Well, easing the ache in Dreadwing's own. Until Skyquake started to fade out, and Dreadwing can only help him pass on, or hope for a miracle to reunite them.
