Instead of Megatron’s quarters, Starscream found himself lingering outside of Knock Out’s. He stared at the door until his optics ached, considering leaving and never looking back but never quite making the move. Right as soon as he was about to make up his mind, the door opened and there the medic stood.
Knock Out stared up at Starscream, optics hazy from recharge. He looked tired. There was an aching emptiness in his gaze that reminded Starscream of the army’s most recent severe loss.

Animated starscream finds himself in an odder, stranger, more goofy universe. With mechs that seem to care about him more than they should, which would be fine and all, since he's an expert at ruining relationships.
He could easily turn the tides in his favor, if it weren't for a few teeny tiny things.

2. There was an imposter starscream.
3. They seem to think he's a runaway sparkling.
4. This prime...is odd.One positive was that some of the decepticons do believe him, however the trio of seekers seem a bit too inclined to have him around.

Or, Starscream has a hard time focusing on his work recently and blames Skyfire meanwhile his trine questions their morals.
(Think of this as a trine redemption fic with a side of SkyStar and you'll be happy)

Unfortunately for all of them, though, before Twitch could even reach where they were sitting, Starscream’s HUD decided this was a wonderful time to tell him that some of his repair systems were failing and he was going to go into an immediate emergency recharge because his fuel tanks were below ten percent and only now decided to tell him.
If his processor was working, Starscream would have known that he’d turned off his system warning last cycle because they were annoying him and had forgotten to turn them back on.
Since it wasn’t, he had no time to turn to Hashtag and tell her what was happening before he hit the ground and fell into darkness.
