I have read the lore of the fall of the Silver Millennium, and I am not impressed.
You expect me to believe Queen Beryl—Beryl—who later gets one-tapped by Venus, personally brought ruin to the Moon Kingdom, the Inner Planets, and their Senshi? That she somehow bested the Heavenly Kings, ensorcelled them one by one, and conquered an interplanetary civilization with a trickle of disposable youma? What did Metalia personaly pin the heavly kings to the ground when Beryl bespelled them?
No.
Metalia did the work.
The Dark Kingdom was never just a coven and a handful of monsters. It was a conduit. A wound in reality that allowed older, deeper forces to bleed into the Solar System. Beryl was a priestess, a mouthpiece, a general at best—but beneath her stood things that did not die, did not tire, and did not need to win so much as endure.
This story is about diversifying the portfolio of darkness.

Kanaya runs into her ex-girlfriend, Vriska, at one of June and Dave’s infamous large gatherings they organize, ostensibly meant to bring everyone in their extended friend group together, but usually just resulting in further interpersonal drama for everyone involved.
When the two leave the party together and attempt a retrospective of their relationship in Kanaya’s garden, they both realize the feelings they felt for one another aren’t solely a matter of the past.
There are considerable ramifications that go far beyond the immediate confines of their relationship.
