Mo'aht was content with just being present in the moment. She had accomplished everything she dreamed of when it came to trophies and honor, she is a high status hunter. Though her clan thought of her and her children as odd anti-social sea dwellers. That is until her duties take hold, she has a commitment to her clan.
Gaia was a lost spirit. Mangled by the laws this planet set in place, she has to live in the shadows. Being half Yautja was a prison sentence meant to keep her on her half of the divide with her clan until she died. She could never travel, nor have children, nor find a suitable mate. Her life revolved around constant secrecy. Her whole existence is a taboo, looked down upon by both her clan and her enemies.
However, when they collide things unravel. Old wounds re-open, past traumas are unearthed, twists of fate are inevitable. Yet, one thing is for sure- soul mates do exist.

Summary
Short version: A different year five at Hogwarts in an alternate universe where all of the other books leading up to this one were slightly different.
Long version: This is basically me changing a lot of stuff about how Hogwarts and the wizarding world works, then writing a story about how Harry managed to defeat Voldemort at the end of the Triwizard Tournament with the help of a man he knew next to nothing about named Regulus Black.
The story begins, as per usual, on Harry's birthday, as Harry is presented with the realization that his next year at Hogwarts will be very different this time. He is forced to think about what will he actually do now that his supposed "destiny" to face the Dark Lord had already came and went.
Disclaimer: I wrote this for a friend, and I'm definitely not as well versed on the HP universe as she is, so I'll do my best here, but I'm out of my comfort zone, so be warned.
