Giada flies forward, through the doorway and directly into Charlotte's arms. Immediately, she dissolves into tears. The two of them clutching together, murmuring softly. Charlotte's eyes, however, lift to meet Sabine's even as she kisses Giada's temple, brow, whispers against her forehead and then bows her head. They press together a final time, and then Charlotte peels her away, stepping through the doorway and into the hall.
The feeling of victory, smug satisfaction swelling in Sabine and her face splits into a wolfish grin. Charlotte takes off her apron and tosses it into the apartment before turning, brushing past Sabine without so much as a word.
Sabine narrows her eyes. "Something's burning," she warns, and then turns to follow her Charlotte, eager for what comes next.

After Dispatcher 13 lost contact with Arnold at 1 AM, he's been worried sick - all he had to go on to convince himself that his technician was still alive was a few seconds of camera footage and the building's motion sensors. When the trackers on Arnold's van sped off all too quickly, then came to an all too sudden halt a bit over a minute later, Jūrō sent his other technician, Oddete, to investigate without a second thought.
Arnold was found barely alive at the side of the road in a makeshift funeral display, surrounded by sticks and wildflowers, reminisce of the Fallfest funerals.
Not only that, but the Endoskeleton was inactive - frozen - and had the data diver, so the mission was a success. Oddete took Arnold and the endoskeleton back to HQ, Jūrō patched up Arnold, and all should have been well.
Unfortunately, due to Arnold learning certain pieces of proprietary information, the Dispatcher supervisor sees team 13 as a liability that should be eliminated.
