A Rock, a Hard Place, and an Even Harder Place is a TMNT Iteration where the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are human instead in the year 2003 in Brooklyn, New York. Their best friends, Casey Jones, April O’Neil, Irma Langinstein (nobody really likes Irma but she follows April EVERYWHERE,) and Karai (who’s too cool to have a last name,) are always around and hanging out. When they find some shady, pristine building that suddenly appeared in the middle of Brooklyn, they for some reason felt compelled to check it out. They discover the building is called the TCRI and is creating mutants to use for their evil doings and housing the Kraang and run they to the cops, who laugh them off as nothing but teenagers on a high. They take matters into their own hands for dealing with the Kraang and the other obstacles that get thrown at them, determined to protect their city whether the cops believed them or not. They’re constantly confronted by an ally of the TCRI, Shredder, who wants nothing more to kill these meddling punks. They weave through personal relationships, side quests, and the occasional government kidnapping. 8 teenagers with nothing but each other and a dream, all told to you by the very ‘reliable’ narrator Raphael.

His legs wrap around Jeongguk’s body, heels digging in his back. For the most part, the alpha is still sitting back on his hunches, body curving and hovering over Jimin’s. Like this, as tightly as they’re holding on one another, the omega’s own body is lifting off the stone, coming up with Jeongguk’s slightest shifting. “And I don’t want to,” he continues. It takes Jimin an embarrassing moment to understand what he means, blinking blearily at the other. His arms unlock from around Jeongguk’s neck reluctantly, one hand cupping the alpha’s face. “Then don’t,” he tells him, watching the alpha lean into the touch. Jeongguk’s eyelids flutter close, a low rumble spreading from his chest. It takes Jimin’s mind a moment to register it as a purr, a content vibrating that coils in the depths of his own chest and low in his belly. “Don’t hurt me,” he breathes. “Not tonight.”
