Light shone around their hotel room as the two boys huddled together on the bed. There they lay, watching some movie Charles had been raving about. He was cuddled up in front of Niko’s chest, paying close attention to the TV.
The other boy, Niko, shifted nervously in place and looked over Charles’ shoulder. “Are you sure I’m allowed to be here?”
“Hey, there’s no rule against it! Besides, Loki won’t chew me out as long as he’s out with Hugo,” Charles reassured him, leaning back to flick his boyfriend on the forehead.
“Alright,” Niko relented as he relaxed against the pillows behind him, enjoying the warmth of Charles’ body in front of him. They both returned their focus to the movie, occasionally laughing or glancing at each other.

She is one of the mechanics building a frigate that has been designed by humans and turians, but also an undercover operative. For the time Zoji has been on Menae, keeping her secrets hasn't been an issue by isolating herself. All of that changes when she meets Garrus
Her budding friendship with the turian leads to her struggling to keep her mouth shut and her secrets hidden to stay alive
She makes Garrus' life on the moon more tolerable. Soon he discovers feelings are developing for her that she is oblivious to
Unfortunately, Zoji lives life on insanity difficulty, with death threats and attempts on her life that the two have to figure out how to navigate before a bigger problem emerges

Shane stumbled back as the sound of air bursting from Rozanov's lungs hit him. He tumbled over the roof of the car and onto the snowy asphalt below. The car kept skidding onwards, crashing into a car in front and before Shane even knew what was happening, he was scrambling towards Rozanov’s body.
“Rozanov, Ilya-- can you hear me? Fuck! Are you okay?” He asked, frantic. There was so much blood, people were running towards them. He could hear phones being dialled, could feel the presence of others around them.
Ilya’s eyes were open, but it was as if he were looking past him, up towards the sky above. He coughed once and blood sputtered out, dribbling down his face "Mama." He said softly.
