Life is tough for a high-school student. Mike, juggling his roles between being a university-student and son to two newly disabled parents, ends up taking on the role of primary caregiver in he and Will's budding relationship, and with money given to them by the government the two of them have moved into a nice one-story house in Mike's college town; only an hour or two away from Hawkins' while being a close enough drive to Mike's campus.
