Just two London transplants, living day to day in Boston, paths not quite crossing. Aziraphale works for the family business, beloved New England regional grocery chain, ‘Picnic Basket.’ Crowley works for international grocery conglomerate (and vulture capitalists), ‘The Ligur Group’ - looking to buy them out. Their worlds crash together (literally) when they become entangled with each other at the same time Picnic Basket is going through an internal family upheaval and an attempted hostile takeover from Ligur Group. Then the ousted Picnic Basket CEO goes missing and Crowley’s boss is somehow involved. Misunderstandings multiply, too many people get involved in everyone else’s business, and unholy amounts of alcohol are consumed. How will this unlikely duo save the future of affordable groceries, will they realize they are in love, and how many terrible Boston jokes can I fit in this?
