It's eight years post-war, and Hermione Granger has got her shit together. She worked hard to get past her trauma from the war. She finished her education. Now, she heads up her own division of the Department of Mysteries, she travels the world studying ancient rituals, and she's got a perfectly balanced life that is absolutely going to stay that way, thank you very much.
Meanwhile, Draco Malfoy has made a new life for himself in France. He, too, has worked through his war trauma, finished his education, and built himself a fulfilling career. His life doesn't need to be shaken up by a series of international murders that just so happens to bring him home to England and force him to collaborate with the girl he tormented for the entirety of their school years.
Now, Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy are chasing a ritualistic killer and simultaneously discovering that the person they are working with is not the same as the one they used to know.
Featuring (mostly) emotionally healthy characters, meddling friends, long conversations, and smutty sandwich-making, with a side of murder and a sprinkling of snark.

Blurry is a ghost with no proper memory of his past life. He should have gone to the afterlife after death, but due to having “unfinished business” in the mortal realm, his soul is stuck and bonded with Tyler, whom has just moved to the city for a fresh start. Blurry isn’t able to go to the afterlife until his unfinished business is completed, so he’s stuck until that happens; he didn’t really believe that he could find out whatever it was (due to having no memory of his past life), nor could Tyler see him yet, so he’s been stuck.
However, on the first night of Tyler staying in his new apartment, he has a dream where he meets Blurry… only to wake up and find him in his apartment. With the help of Tyler’s new (and kinda cute) neighbour, they work together to try and figure out Blurry’s unfinished business.

Hermione was vaguely aware of Dobby’s clear, proud voice answering Bellatrix’s bawling. Malfoy grunted next to her, blood pouring from a gash that ran over his eye and down his cheek. With effort, he had finally managed to extricate himself from the gnarled weight of the chandelier that had been trapping them both on the ground. Tearing his robes, he managed to stand. Just as he did, a small, heavily tarnished object the size of a snitch fell from within his ruined robes and hit the ground, rolling toward where Hermione still sat, her left leg pinned. She looked up to see Malfoy’s face blanch with horror, his eyes flicking from the object up to Hermione’s face. Time froze for a split second, their eyes locked. If this was something Malfoy did not want her to have, it was likely worth having, or at least worth keeping away from him.
Hermione’s hand shot out to grab it as Malfoy lunged forward with a desperate, “NO!” Her finger barely brushed it as his body slammed into hers. She felt a familiar tug behind her navel and the drawing room disappeared.

What does Harris Drover do when he isn't creating GIFs, posting, and managing fan engagement for the Ottawa Centaurs? The chronically online social media expert that he is, does research on possible acquisitions for his team of course! Harris Drover has worked social media for the Ottawa Centaurs for less than a year, but has researched plenty of players online profiles to support the team's decisions for trades and free agency moves, while training and working with scouts to research draft candidates. He has seen offensive, funny, sweet, and potential career ending posts and comments in this time, but nothing has prepared him for the research and work he is going to have to put in with the Centaurs 2018-2021. The Centaurs have not been a winning team in a long time, so Harris definitely did not expect to be research some of the most talented, and prolific online presences in the league.
He has definitely earned a promotion!
Based on The Long Game and Role Model - this should align with those and there are gaps in the story as this just focuses on Harris's work.
