The first thing to vanish was the noise. No more chatter from the radios, no more hum of latenight stations filling the emptiness of sleepless hours. Towers went dark one by one, until all that was left was the hollow hiss of static. In the silence that followed, monsters came. Towns crumbled, highways turned into graveyards of rust. Survivors learned to whisper instead of shout, to hide instead of search. Yet sometimes, when the night was quiet enough and the wind turned just right there was still a voice. A voice that told people where not to go, what roads still held danger, which shadows were alive. No one knew the man behind it. Only that when the world itself had gone silent, someone out there was still speaking. And for those who were lost, that was enough.
Meeting Torchbearer is the first time in months Clancy leaves his bunker willingly. Something about a strange broadcast telling him to follow the yellow cuts through the static of his cynicism. He wonders if someone else out there is carrying a torch for more than just themselves. Clancy doesn't know if this will be his redemption, or just another dead-end signal. But as long as his voice carries, he'll keep speaking.

Maybe, in another life, they were able to relax at home, just in their underwear and laughing at each other.
Maybe, in another life, they were able to stick together free of suffering, untouched by pain.Torchbearer wouldn't be sitting under a tree, completely lonely. Thinking about those brown eyes and pointy nose that he would love to softly kiss each morning when they would wake up together. And Clancy wouldn't be collecting those yellow flowers inside a drawer, hoping to give them to his curly boy while offering his love in whispered confessions
Reality is far crueler. As the lines between past and present blur, Clancy fights to hold onto himself, but how do you resist when even your own mind betrays you?

Sonic hadn't been here long, not that he had a watch to be able to tell, but he had been here long enough to realise that this had once been Green Hill, his beloved home since the beginning of time, almost. He wasn't quite sure how things led up to this, which may have been for the better.. everything after he charged into that Paradox Prism was a blur- almost like he had jumped through time itself. He had no clue how Eggman actually won- i mean, come on, that Egghead has lost to him dozens of times! Was that shiny rock really that powerful?
Sonic finds Nine, the New Yoke version of Tails, and the agony this town brings is unveiled the more they get to know eachother.
