Life stood still as the blood dirtied the bath tub, slowly forming a puddle of thick, red, clotted blood. Zanka laid there, his body slowly stiffening as the light in his eyes slowly began to fade. The blade in his hand clattered to the bottom of the tub with a rattling *clink*. But despite this, despite the pain in his arms and thighs, he smiled faintly. His eyes landed on Lovely Assistaff, his walking stick which he named when he was a boy, was leaning against the bathroom wall with a peace that made Zanka jealous.
