Chapter Text
The alarm ding just for it to be shut off immediately. Truthless sat up staring at the wall rethinking his whole life. His purpose.
Truthless got out of bed dressing himself in new clean clothes getting ready for another horrible day of bullying. He put on his glasses, then got his headphones listening to music in an attempt to block out their arguing.
Soon he went off to school. He walked past his still arguing parents; this was the norm for him. He wonders everyday why they are still together.
Another dreadful day it repeats over and over again everyday he hopes for a change that's never coming it's almost pathetic. Everyday that hope dims he wonders why he still hopes in general.

Ah the sun is shining, the birds are chirping such a wonderful day! Sage woke up bright and early for his first day at Blueberry Yogurt Academy! Was he excited? Yes! Was he nervous? Also yes! But either way he was going to try and make friends!
Sage put on fresh clean clothes, did his hair, ate breakfast, brushed his teeth then went off for his first day of school!
Once he entered, many people stared at him. Some with curious others eyeing him as if he stepped out from a magazine cover.
Truthless was among this crowd not like he cared, or had friends in general he knew this Sage person was going to be someone popular just off of looks.
Truthless went to his locker grabbing some books before they were slapped out of his hand and shoved to the floor. The classic bullying tactic everyday is the same. Practically getting beaten while the teachers pretend not to notice, fun isn't it?
They drag Truthless by his hair roughly making just grunt in pain as others watch snickering. They dragged him to an empty hall and started kicking and hitting him. Truthless just took it he didn't really have a choice, if he reported it nothing would happen if he fought back he'll lose its three against one.
Once they finished they threw him against the lockers laughing calling him a freak as they left. Truthless was left bruised and bleeding in some places. He was used to it by now.
He was about to stand up before a hand was in his view- Sage's hand, "Oh my, are you okay?" Sage asked politely, Truthless just scoffed getting up and walking away leaving Sage confused.
Sage stared as he watched Truthless walk away; he had to admit he was interested in him. He was almost about to follow, looking at him with an enamored expression before some girls took him away. But one thing he knew was that. He had to find out more about this stoic person.
Truthless cleaned himself up in the bathroom he wonders why he even bothers knowing another beating was coming. Soon later he heads to class and takes his seat in the corner headphones full blast.

Sage entered the classroom a bit nervous, the teacher told him to introduce himself. "Hi! My name is Sage... and I hope we can all be friends...!" Despite his nervousness no one cared as long as Sage sat next to them. The girls were especially attempting to get his attention until a certain someone caught his attention.
Mysterious boy! Sitting by the window in the very corner, the good thing was the seat next to him was empty. This was Sage's chance to talk to him! Oh boy, he was excited. He sat down next to him trying to get his attention. He tapped his shoulder, Truthless meanwhile only glanced at him before looking back out the window.
That left Sage disappointed but he wasn't going to give up. Sage was a persistent boy. Class started and Sage was trying to understand but he couldn't. He didn't have the notes... but the mysterious boy did! "Excuse me?" Sage says politely, finally Truthless takes off his headphones.
He hummed finally acknowledging him it wasn't a conversation but it was a starter! "Do you have the notes? If you do, can I copy it?" Sage asked oh boy this was the perfect excuse to talk to him.
Truthless looks at Sage and hands slides his notes over. Sage makes eye contact with him and oh my... his eyes were beautiful, they were mesmerizing, or perhaps it was just the mysterious boy himself so beautiful? The sight made his face a bit red.
Sage snapped out of it realizing he was staring and copied the notes down. Sage attempted another conversation. "I don't think we had a good start... Hi I'm Sage and you are?" Sage was hoping he'll at least reply, that's all he was hoping for.
"Truthless." He simply replied, looking away from Sage. Sage was ecstatic he finally got Truthless to reply! Oh boy was he happy. "Nice to meet you, Truthless!" He said a bit too quickly his excitement was very noticeable.
But something odd Sage noticed was that... Truthless didn't really have expression or even showed emotion in general; it made him curious as to why, but it wasn't his place to ask yet.

Finally lunch arrived Sage was getting pulled left and right to sit at tables. He was a new student but it was overwhelming. Finally he settled at a table. The popular kids table. At least he was fitting in! Making new friends but his thoughts wandered back to Truthless that mysterious boy.
Truthless was sitting alone reading a book silently, he wasn't hungry for food. Suddenly he felt something thrown at him- ketchup packets? We're these guys idiots? He rolled his eyes annoyed. He returned his attention back to the book ignoring them still throwing ketchup packets.
Sage watched, did Truthless just not care? Was he used to it? But the real question is should Sage step in? He doesn't like to see people getting bullied but he wants to fit in, he was at the popular kids table! That has to mean something right?
So Sage didn't stop it just watching silently, did he feel guilty? Yes he did a lot. Sage ate his food quietly watching as Truthless gets bullied.

Finally school ended Sage headed home getting ready for his job at a rich clothing shop! It was a simple, nice job he heard. It was also his first day there; he just had to hope there was no drama.
After school Truthless was putting away his book he saw the popular kids approaching him he immediately knew he was about to get hit. Once that was over and he was left bruised he got up and went home headphones full blast wanting to escape from this reality. But yet he had somewhere to be.
Sage arrives at his new job and he's nervous. He greets other staff employees and immediately gets to work, folding clothes, putting them on the racks etc. "Hey! You're the new employee no?" A soft voice was heard. Sage turned and saw a girl around his age with white hair and lovely eyes. Her tag name was White Lily. She seemed nice enough.
"Yes that's me! I'm Sage... and you?" Sage said he wasn't expecting anyone to approach him so suddenly. "Im White Lily." She replied with a smile. "I just want to say hi, maybe be friends." She added... friends? Oh boy this was amazing!
Sage smiled happily "I would love that!" He replied. Sage and White Lily worked together until Sage saw a familiar blonde with a stoic expression- Truthless.
