Other times, though, it seemed that he wasn't aware that he was touching Laios at all, as if he needed something to do with his hands and Laios just happened to be there. He would randomly grab Laios’ hand and start playing with his fingers while he talked, or he would rub his belly, or massage his arm, or ruffle his hair. This kind of casual touch didn't have as strong of an effect on him as the more sexually charged stuff, but it was still very nice – a reminder that Kabru was really, physically there.
