I can't imagine that Tomioka Tsutako wouldn't go out without a fight... Against a freshly turned demon she has little chance of survival, but maybe she has chance of saving her brother by fighting it. (And maybe inadvertently helps kid Sanemi kill it (because this is au/theory where Sanemis mum is the same demon who attacked Tsutako) as she fights it long enough for dawn to draw nearer, buying time).
By prolonging the demons murder of her, I also can't imagine that Giyuu was hearing great things. I kind of wanted to create a bit of a more detailed description of the event, as it's often treated as something that happened super quickly, which I don't really agree with.
