With a jolt, Lida realised exactly where she was. Out of all the back alleys in Lumiose, she had to go down one at possibly the most inconvenient moment.
The guy was getting closer. Lida knew there wouldn’t be a good outcome regardless of what happened. Perhaps the guy didn’t know this was an alley? Perhaps she could turn around and escape him before she was cornered? Perhaps interacting again would put her in more danger and she should just keep walking and hope the guy looses interest?
