After years of being apart Mike and Will are forced to plan a party together for Max and Lucas and Mike finds out Will is finally single again.
"BEST FRIEND?! we have barely talked since I moved! Nevermind the fact that you played with me for a year without any kind of explanation before I moved. Now after 2 years I've finally let go and you come here acting like you know me best?! WHAT IS THIS MIKE?!" Will was screaming now.
They were outside of his apartment building. Will had asked him to step outside after the last snide remark he had made to Carlton.
"Will..." he said softly, a small raindrop plinking on his head. "You are my best friend, but I-" he began but once again his words failed him.”DAMNIT!” He yelled in frustration pulling Will towards him in one swift motion.
Grabbing the back of Wills head he pulled him in for a desperate kiss. It was hot and angry and Will began to melt into him like he always did. It began to rain harder and when they broke apart, Will looked at him with tears in his eyes.
"Same old Mike" Will said bitterly. -

They stay like that for a little longer than necessary, then reluctantly separate, still looking at each other. Will can't hold the eye contact for long, and turns away, biting down a smirk.
"Goodnight, then," he breathes out.
"Yeah. Goodnight," Mike nods nervously and smiles. That same stupid dorky smile.

“I could paint this,” Dazai murmurs, eyes tracing the way the light halos Chuuya’s hair. “This exact scene. The lamps, the colors, you looking away as though you belong to no one.”
Silence folds over the table. His pulse quickens, every instinct screaming *idiot*.
Chuuya turns, the faintest crease in his brow; surprise, not offense. Then, a ghost of a smile, so slight it almost hurts.
“Well,” he says quietly, tilting his glass, “I wouldn’t mind being painted by the great Dazai Osamu once in a while.”
Dazai laughs. “Ah, but you’d regret it. I ruin my muses. One way or another.”
“Then, you’d have to catch me first.”

I tend to assume that removed bits of vampires rot and degrade at a similar rate to those of living humanoids, and at least as fast as it takes for them to replace whatever part it is through regeneration. But what if that isn’t how it works…?
