When Prince Lloyd Garmadon of Hyrule, central kingdom of Ninjago, wakes up half-naked in a cave with no memories and an old man telepathically driving him crazy with riddles, he’s done with the whole mess before he’s even started.
Which of course means that he’s the prophesied Hero of Destiny, and has to go on a cross-continental quest to save the world from the Overlord, a Deity of pure evil even the God of Time (his grandfather???) couldn’t defeat.
From freeing Divine Beasts, communing with the dead, unlocking secrets about himself he never would have dreamed of, and rediscovering his family, Lloyd has a lot to do, and all on a time limit.
And he still has amnesia. Great.

Kai had vanished through the timestream alongside Wu some time ago during the fight with Krux and Acronix, and instead of ending up at a different point in time in Ninjago, he is instead thrown into a completely different world known as Sentinel Prime, far away from the home he once knew. Upon being found by a group known as the Night Sentinels alongside a lone marine known as the Doomguy, Kai's life had taken a drastic change that will forever affect him.
He was soon blessed with divine powers that made him stronger then any Elemental Master in Ninjago, and he had soon joined forces with the Doomslayer to fight through the army's of hell together, and find a way to end the suffering they've caused. And after years of fighting for their lives, they finally found a way to Ninjago after so long, and after reuniting with his family again, Kai is left to explain what happened to him during his time with the Doomslayer, and how their arrival here, may change Ninjago forever.
