One was Helena Bonham Carter. She wore a stunning, idiosyncratic gown—dark velvet that seemed to drink the light, with sleeves of cascading ivory lace that fell past her fingertips. Her hair was an artful tempest of dark waves, pinned loosely with antique-looking clips. She held a champagne flute, gesturing with it as she spoke to a production assistant about the lighting challenges of the Great Hall set. She was all witty, intelligent charm, her famous smoky laugh punctuating the technical jargon.
Leaning against the bar a few feet away, swirling a glass of blood-red wine as if contemplating poisoning it, was Bellatrix Lestrange.
Not on a break. Not out of character. Simply there, inhabiting the space with the terrifying ownership of a apex predator in a petting zoo. She was in full battle-ready attire: the tailored black robes, the severe corset cinching her waist, the multitude of rings on her fingers catching the fairy lights. Her hair was its iconic, magnificent explosion. She radiated a vibration of pure, unadulterated menace and boredom, her kohl-heavy eyes scanning the room of normies with amused contempt.
Their paths hadn’t crossed all night. Until now.

Now, the Angel walks amongst friends who swear that they will not be banished. Kris, Susie, and Ralsei mean everything to them. Maybe this time, their banishment doesn't have to be as set in stone as they thought.
The Roaring comes. The light falters. Everyone falls.
A desperate connection is established in an attempt to save what remains of the Angel. If they fall, all hope will be lost. The world that banished the Angel long ago has forgotten them, but they have not forgotten it. This connection will have to be enough. Even if the rules have changed irrevocably, the Angel's one goal remains the same: Find them.

But the Rulers of the Outer Realms are always watching. Order must be preserved, lest the ancient wars of cataclysm resurge.
