Beverly Marsh figured she was a pretty unique case for her social workers. I mean, it’s not everyday you find a young girl who was left orphaned after her father was beaten to death with a slate, an ominous message inscribed on the wall in his blood.
Of course, said social workers would never expect it to be the doe eyes red head who had done the bludgeoning. The FBI marked it as a cold case, and young Beverly was due to be shipped off to extended family in Hawkins, Indianna very soon.
In her last weeks, Beverly resolved to spend as much time with the losers, no, her losers as she could. They hung out at the clubhouse, got milkshakes and trauma bonded. Days passed in a blur, and soon, too soon, Beverly only had three days left.

It just had to be here, in somewhere that was supposed to be normal was turning into something he could only hope wasn't a repeat of Hawkins, or even Derry for that matter, he wasn't sure which was worse. But, again, with this amazing luck he'd been blessed with, he understood that he wouldn't have to decide which was worse, because both of his two worlds from hell were about to collide in the worst way he could possibly think of and there was nothing he could effectively do to stop it.
