Summary
Upon looking for a quick cash grab to help out his mom, Chase gets the opportunity to test out the new VR horror game technology created by a company called "Ex Libris," named after its extensive library of artificial intelligence software. He hopes to use this new, immersive tech to live out the popstar fantasies he dreams of, but he soon learns that doing this will lead to a nightmare that reveals the realities of being a blonde bombshell in a world that keeps shifting around his own intrusive thoughts in the worst ways possible, holding a mirror up to the idolization of his own celebrity crush. It doesn't take long before he realizes that he cannot simply escape whatever he's gotten himself into. Luckily, one of Ex Libris' employees come into the game after him, but it's the oddly familiar raven haired guy he may or may not have met last night and can't recall the name of...
