Summary
Lately, the world has been experiencing an unknown surge of strange incidents, electronic abnormalities, and missing people. Four years ago, a six year old boy named Hitoki disappeared, son of the inventor Shinkibo Sosei and the doctor Shinkibo Ai, who along with their very house disappeared one winter. One year later, out of a snow filled forest that had been empty and searched for days, Hitoki emerged, showing an almost scary lack of signs any time had passed for him at all, and almost no memory of the time he went missing.
Now ten years old and living by himself in the big city thanks to his parents money, he attends school and has been adjusted into his new life. Working hard to be faster, hone his exceptional hearing, and study hard to have a future and perhaps one day find his parents, all that changes when he has a strange encounter and meets a Digimon named Loogamon, making new enemies and getting involved in something new in the process. Now aware of dark forces that are involved, he and Loogamon will have to unlock the power of their bond, new powers, and new ways to Digivolve...and this time, the humans wont be standing on the sidelines either. What will win in the end, darkness or hope?
