This is the prequel story in a sweeping three-part series. This is a prequel fiction about how Satoru Gojo’s parents meant. This story provides the overall framework to Satoru’s origins and how deeply entrenched the politics and culture of both the Gojo clan dictates the lives of ALL its members and the impact and heavy influence of the Jujutsu world. Satoru’s parents are original characters made up by the author and co-author. One of the hallmarks of this story is the real-life experiences of the (primary) author, who lived in Japan and spent extensive time in both Kyoto and Arashiyama and used their own personal experiences to enrich this story. Arashiyama, a suburb of Kyoto. In this epic tale Satoru’s father Kiyoshi Gojo who is the current head of the Gojo clan, is caught in between his sworn duties, and obligations to the Jujutsu elders, and his growing desire to carve out his own life. His life takes a dramatic turn whenever he meets young woman who captivates his heart. Kiyoshi is facing the choice to defy his duties or follow his heart. What will or who will Kiyoshi choose?
